Meet Dr. Yakoby
Dr. Sima Yakoby is a first-generation New Yorker, born in Forest Hills. Having received extensive dental work as a young girl due to a catastrophic automobile accident, she became fascinated with and grew to appreciate the vital role that Orthodontics plays in comprehensive dentistry.
She completed both her Doctor of Dental Medicine Residency and her Post-Graduate Orthodontic Residency at University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.
She served as a general dentist and provided cosmetic and restorative dentistry to patients for an upscale office on manhattan's Upper East Side, and completed a General Practice Residency at New York Hospital. In addition, she trained and taught at NYU Advanced Education in Aesthetic Dentistry and continues to be affiliated with the program part time.
She was honored with a Deans Academic Merit Scholarship from University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and is associated with the American Association of Orthodontics, American Student Dental Association and Orthodontic Dental Society.
Sima’s blend of specialized training, talent and skills makes a positive impact on her patients, making certain every person she treats receives the highest quality of care and compassion.
